How To Make Phosphate Free Pre-Soaks
These are formulas for Phosphate-free Pre-soaks.
There are two steps.
1. As a first step, preferably use high pH pre-soak after the bug remover
It will not neutralize the bug remover, so its contact time will be extended.
2. As a second step, using the low pH pre-soak will help neutralize the high pH pre-soak, thus the drying agent will work better
Proper dilutions to be established by carwash based on climate, geographic location, equipment efficiency, chemistry of the other cleaners, etc.

Composition in %
Aquadistilata = 67.0
EDTA or NTA = 8.0
Sodium Metasilicate Pentahydrate = 3.0
Rewoquat® CQ 100 G = 12.0
How to make :
Dissolve all ingredients in water, then add surfactant.

Composition in %
Water = 82.0 – 87.0
Glycolic, Gluconic, or Citric Acid = 5.0 – 8.0
Rewoquat® CQ 100 G = 8.0 – 10.0
How to make :
Dissolve all ingredients in water, then add surfactant.
